FARMHOUSE FOR SALE IN NOVA SIRI (MT)
The Gargaleo farm is located in Nova Siri (MT), 100 meters above sea level, 6 km from Marina di Nova Siri and 3 km from the historic center of Nova Siri in the San Basile district, crossed by the Toccacelo and Perciante streams. It is an agricultural farm of approximately 69 hectares, dedicated to fruit, cereal, olive, and wine production. The property is served for irrigation by the Bradano and Metaponto Land Reclamation Consortium. Since 1993 the following crops have been continuously produced using organic methods: Apricot 7ha (1200 quintals of production), Peach/Romea percoco 4ha (800 quintals of production), Nectarine early June 1.50ha (270 quintals of production), Early peach in May 0.5ha (120 quintals of production), Stanley plums 1ha (250 quintals of production), Pears (coscia) approximately 4.40ha (650 quintals of production), Mixed trees (50 pomegranate trees, 20 persimmon trees, 50 almond trees, 15 Signore pear trees, 10 medlar trees, 10 table grapevine trees, 1 mulberry tree), Mixed family vegetable garden 0.70ha irrigated arable land (durum wheat, broad beans, fenugreek, trigonella), approximately 23ha olive groves for oil (annual production from 20 to 50 quintals of oil), 2 ha vineyard (230 quintals of annual grape production) 1.69 ha
Built part:
three apartments renovated in 1995 of approximately 150m2;

In addition to its agricultural production, the Gargaleo farm is a registered agritourism facility (with a CIN certification) with two apartments available as vacation rentals (sleeps 8), and is a registered educational farm. The wine vineyard has a vineyard quota. The organic extra virgin olive oil produced has its own approved label and was included in the Gambero Rosso Guide to Italian Olive Oils in 2016 and in the Slow Food Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils in 2021. The farm is among the founding members of the "Sei sul Sinni" association for the Slow Food Presidium's Signora della Valle del Sinni pear (approximately 10 trees). According to current regulations, the farm receives approximately €25,000 annually through a single application and contributions for organic production.
The farmhouse is equipped with a 5kW photovoltaic system installed in 2009 which has an incentive tariff of 0.42/kW produced (until 2029), in addition to the price of what is fed into the grid according to current tariffs.
